Video Prodcution

Participating in hands-on, project-based work, students develop pre-production, storyboarding, camera operation, sound recording, lighting, directing, on-camera presence, and other production skills. NCTC's Digital Media Program currently has professional Canon XA15 video cameras for studio productions and Adobe Premiere Pro for editing. Motion Graphics are also taught, using Adobe After Effects and Illustrator.

Audio & Music Production

Students explore soundtrack, multi-track music, and podcast production using Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, and Native Instruments Komplete virtual synthesizer suite.

Photography & Image Enhancement

Students learn everything from studio lighting techniques to photojournalism. using Panasonic Lumix mirrorless DSLR cameras. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are used for image manipulation, graphic design, and animation projects.
